Being that this is the Christmas season, its seems that people everywhere are trying to get into the "spirit" of things. I have asked a few people what their feelings on this were, and what exactly the "spirit" of Christmas is anyway, and the answers though diverse, share one thing in common: Christmas feels different. But different than what I ask? No one seems to really know. My guess is that is has something to do with a variety of factors ranging from the weather, to the need to buy gifts and the promise of getting gifts, the religious significance, decorations, and more. Everyone seems to be anticipating something. But what? I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear someone else's perspective, so please help me here. What is it about the Christmas spirit anyway that makes this time of year special?
